Fun in the 'dunes


This is an example of my afternoon entertainment. Sitting in the front seat gave me an ideal view of the vertical drop! The dunes were fabulously white set against a blue sky and the glistening Indian Ocean in the background. Of course, preparing for our first tumble, we managed to get stuck in the sand. We spent a full ten minutes digging out the wheels and pushing (by "we" I mean everyone except the Japanese tourists- they weren't especially hands-on). After riding around for a while, we got out and tryed "sandboarding" down on adapted snowboards. It's all fun and games till it's time to try and climb back up!
