Weekend Out
Last weekend I actually ventured outside of my multi-block corral to a new part of Taipei. I was going there to buy a ticket for the Black Eyed Peas concert in July, so I guess that takes away a bit of the cultural exploration aspect. Anyway, I found a great antique and jade market. I bought this little carved stone. Obviously it doesn't make sense to buy antiques
when you can't communicate: I have no idea what, where, when or why this is special. But I thought it was beautiful, and that makes it worth the money (it looks better in real life).
