Back To Work


Back to school will come next week, but I'm already back to work. We were asked to come in every day this week and two days next week for some orientation and many hours of lesson planning. Don't get me wrong, I need the time to prepare and the incentive of having to be at the office is helping, but I'm a bit annoyed. You see, these two weeks in August are totally unpaid. 8:30 in the morning, five days a week, eight hour days: no pay. I'm blaming the company, not the school (although I hope they realize how absurd it is to have us work 80 hours for no pay!!!)
