Glamorous Night


This week, the roommates and I had a great time at a party on the 84th floor of Taipei 101. It was finally a reminder that there is something fun and fabulous about my life here! Louise and Julia had friends who offered us the invite, so we weren't technically crashing the party (although we did feel a little out of place when we had to ask what kind of business it was that was celebrating their 25th anniversary!) The invitation had said "smart casual" which, of course, prompted a week of contemplation on the meaning of that term. We ended up being properly attired, getting ready in a record 45 minutes, and going from school to fantastic in one hour. The food and beverages were top of the line, and we spent the whole evening chatting with each other and enjoying the view.
