Holidays
Double Ten Day - October 10 This was the school's Double Ten Day ceremony. School in Taiwan is very focused on military precision and discipline... sometimes is scares me. They raise the flag, sing the anthem and the follow drummers, cheerleaders and students carrying billboards of Chiang Kai-Shek on a parade around the block.
Moon Festival - October 6
Moon Festival in Taiwan seems to involve three things: looking at the moon, BBQ and eating Mooncakes. I think that's a great recipe for a holiday, don't you? By the way, if you look at the moon in Asia, you can see a rabbit. Crazy but true.
