Happy Thanksgiving (To Americans)
In the spirit of American Thanksgiving, the principal of the school threw a lovely lunch for all of the English teachers. Last year the school won a prestigious prize for English teaching and curriculum development (or something like that) so this was a big thank you for the hard work. To tell the truth, we were mostly just excited about the turkey!Here is the latest picture of the foreign teachers. You might remember that one teacher left mid semester, and we finally have a replacement. His name is Paul, he's from Minnesota by way of California. So far he's been fitting in great: working hard at school, keeping the apartment clean and being an all-around nice guy. And, of course, it makes the whole "four girls and a guy" dynamic a whole lot easier that he has a serious girlfriend at home!
