Happy St. Patrick's!
Weekend relaxation has begun. Whoopee. In the spirit of the holiday we'll all be going out to dinner at the (only) Irish
restaurant in Taipei. And, apparently, we'll all be wearing green (overkill? I'm not sure). I taught about St. Patrick's day in most of my classes this week. It's such a great lesson- interesting, colorful and something the students have never learned about before. I even got a spontaneous ovation when I mentioned that my ancestry came from Ireland (
apparently that's really surprising and impressive)!
